Myself & my partner had always dreamt of living for a year abroad, so in 2019 we tackled our dreams and set off to South East Asia. We had saved a bit of cash to go with, but we always knew we would have to work and come up with ideas to survive along the road. Through that, and some friends we met along the way, we started to learn about websites & the world of e-commerce.
Something special we noticed in every country we visited was their love of colours, their fearless art of expressing their love to each other and their use of bright lights in their homes & work places. What caught our eye the most, was how the NEON lights made everything seem better looking and more comfortable feeling. Whether it was out on the streets, above a shop front, behind the till or bar, beside the reception in a hotel, in our bed room or out by the swimming pool.
EVERYTHING WAS BETTER.
We felt this way a whole new way of lighting up our lives & homes. But the western world hadn’t quite adopted the philosophy yet…
We came up with the name, because the lights gave me the fear of missing out (FOMO) on all the action, every time I saw them!
The rest is history, and if you’ve any more questions… don’t be afraid to ask.
